The Rise of Christianity and the Bush Administration by Gwenneth Morgan

What do the rise of Christianity and the current Bush administration have in common? A deep seeded and self centered desire to dominate the Earth through wealth and power at all costs.

Don't let it happen again.

This is the same machine that plunged mankind in the Dark Ages after a thousand years of murder and persecution to "sell" the world on their views. This was not worldwide acceptance of Christianity, it was inhuman coercion and devastation on a scale that, thankfully, has never been duplicated. Not even Hitler came close to what the Crusades did.

George W. Bush has absolutely no problem reconciling the loss of life as a means to attain his goals. Torture is no problem for him and his cohorts. The use of illegal weapons of war to totally destroy an entire culture in the name of Democracy is just as disgusting as mass killing in the name of the most peace loving man that ever lived.

Wealth and power drive both.

The founding fathers of the earliest Christian church were not content with converts. They also looted every land they encountered and saved all of the wealth for themselve, leaving the common man in abject poverty and squalor.

George Bush shows the same lack of regard for the average American. He is far more devoted to big money interests and the radical right than he is to workers and even the planet. He gives the impression that he just couldn't care less about Americans in general and would sell the whole lot of us if it meant he and his friends would profit.

They both use Christ's name to peddle their poison.

Two of the most corrupt and rigid organizations in history consistantly use the name of the very model of peace, love and understanding to further their self serving agenda. This is just wrong. Can anyone honestly believe that Jesus would have gone along with the Crusades? Can anyone honestly believe that if Jesus was alive, he'd want to be in George Bush's cabinet?

"It's our way or the highway."

This is the operating system of both Christianity and the Bush Administration. Neither can be persuaded to see another point of view. They are RIGHT and that is that!

In this, Christianity has an advantage over the Bush Administration. If you cross Christianity, you're punishment is terrifying and eternal. George Bush always suports policies that will make life harder for those who do not fit into his "set," but at least one day we will die and then he (and his kind) won't have an influence on our lives any more.

Don't let it happen again.

Today, the number of people who actually go along with these kinds of philosophies is much smaller than those who are sickened by it. So why do these conditions stay in effect? Because most of us don't realize that we are now in the majority.

Use your power!

Contrary to what some would like us to believe, we each have a piece of God within us and we are all capable of the same kind of spiritual attainment as Christ himself. We need to use our power for good!

Stop complaining about life, the administration and the world! Instead visualize what it could be like if people aligned with the Light were in power.

Pay attention to every election. I know, it's boring, but this is how the Dark was able to put George Bush into office. They started planning it back in 1990. They took advantage of the fact that Americans had become disillisioned with our political system. If we don't vote, we can't effect any change!

Send white light regularly, all around the world. Fill it up. Imagine bands of white light circling the globe.

Talk to others. I know it's hard. So many of us are afraid of being totally rejected for harboring views that are outside of the mainstream, but we must be brave. As we allow ourselves to be heard, others like us will feel empowered to speak out. Before long, it will become obvious that we really are the majority!
